Kustosija had dominated possession and created more corners, but struggled to convert their territory into clear chances. By then the game had settled into a pattern the away side understood well enough to protect.

Dinamo Zagreb U21 managed eight shots off target against five from the hosts, but efficiency mattered more than volume. One mistake ends it, and Kustosija paid for it.
The result moves Dinamo Zagreb U21 further clear of trouble in sixth place, while Kustosija continue to search for their first win of the campaign. Four games in and the gap between them stands at four points, which is enough to keep the pressure on the home side as they look to turn things around.
