About the player
Amadou Ba-Sy is a product of the OGC Nice academy, where he came through the ranks with Nice B between 2018 and 2021 before a spell without a club. He joined GFC Ajaccio on a free transfer in the National division, then moving to USL Dunkerque, where he featured in both Ligue 2 and the National division.
A switch abroad followed in January 2024, when he signed for FC Vizela in Portugal. He spent the 2024–2025 season on loan at Académica Coimbra in Liga 3 before returning to France in July 2025 to join FC Rouen 1899 in the National division.
Heart of Midlothian moved for the forward from Rouen for a reported six-figure fee, with the deal completed in June 2026.
Born in Nice, Ba-Sy is eligible to represent both France and Senegal but has not featured for either at senior or youth international level.
