About the player
Aboubacar Traoré began his career in Ivorian football, coming through FC Lys Sassandra before a move abroad took him into the Czech First League system. In September 2022 he joined MFK Karviná, initially registered with the club's under-19 squad before working his way into first-team contention. He has also been linked to the youth setup at Salitas Football School earlier in his development.
At Karviná, the midfielder made seven appearances in the Czech First League. He is right-footed and has featured primarily in central midfield, though he has also been used in defensive roles at right-back during his time in Czech football.
Traoré holds Ivorian nationality and remains eligible for the Ivory Coast national team, though he has not yet earned a senior international cap. In July 2026 he moved on from Karviná to join fellow Czech First League side Baník Ostrava as a free agent, continuing his career within the same domestic competition.
