About the player
After coming through the Örebro SK youth ranks, he moved to FC Linköping City and then AFC Eskilstuna, from where he was loaned out three times in succession — to Åtvidabergs FF, back to Linköping, and finally to Ekenäs IF. 17 goals in 21 appearances for the Finnish club earned him the Ykkönen Player of the Month award for May 2022.
Ilves signed him permanently that July, and he contributed 9 goals and 7 assists in 43 matches across two seasons before a Bosman move took him back to Eskilstuna in August 2023. By January 2024 he had joined IFK Mariehamn, where his first season delivered 11 league goals — the club's top scorer in the 2024 Veikkausliiga — including two goals against AC Oulu that secured the team's survival in the division. Mariehamn's supporters voted him both Forward of the Year and Fan's Favourite.
A move to USL Championship side Monterey Bay FC followed in January 2025, then a short stint at Danish club Hvidovre IF in September that year in which he made no first-team appearances. Larsson returned to IFK Mariehamn on a permanent deal in January 2026. He has not been capped by Sweden at senior level.
