Clinton Jeffa

Clinton Jephta scored eight goals in his first professional season, in 2023 with Niger Tornadoes in the Nigerian Professional Football League. That spell brought fewer minutes — eight league appearances and three goals, plus two outings in the CAF Confederation Cup — and by the 2025/26 season he was back at Niger Tornadoes on a free transfer, where he added twelve appearances and two goals.

The move that changed things came in March 2026, when Inter Turku took him on loan and he made his debut in the Finnish League Cup. He needed only a month in the Veikkausliiga to make an impression: three goals and five assists in six matches earned him the Player of the Month award from the Football Players Association of Finland. Inter Turku made the deal permanent in July 2026, exercising the option to buy for a five-figure fee and tying him to the club until 2029.

At international level, Jephta has represented Nigeria at Under-20 level with the Flying Eagles, featuring at the 2024 WAFU B U-20 Championship and the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. He has six caps at that level without scoring, and has not yet been capped by the senior Super Eagles side.
