Daniel Horák

Daniel Horák came through Hradec Králové's own youth system before Sparta Prague took him into its academy in 2019. He made his senior debut for Sparta the following year, coming on at half-time away at Plzeň, but that remained his only appearance for the first team. Most of his football in Prague was played for Sparta's B side, where he scored five goals in fifteen matches during the 2019/20 second-tier season.

The path from there ran through two loan spells away from Sparta. He spent 2020/21 at Vysočina Jihlava, and the following season went abroad to Slovakia's FK Pohronie, playing in the Slovak Superliga. Neither loan produced a goal, and by the summer of 2023 Sparta let him leave as a free agent.

Horák returned to Hradec Králové on 1 July 2023. In 2025/26 he made 33 league appearances but scored only once, and the current season has so far brought seven league games and four in the Europa League without a goal.

Earlier in his career, Horák was capped at various age levels for the Czech Republic, including the under-17s, where he scored once in eight appearances, and further caps at under-18 and under-20 level. He has not been called up to the senior national side.
