Egor Teslenko

On 23 October 2021, playing for KAMAZ against Spartak-2, Teslenko scored three times — in the 14th, 58th and 67th minutes — in a 4–1 win. That season he finished with five goals in 23 First League appearances.

He started in football at six, in the Gulkevichi District of Krasnodar Krai, and moved through local youth sections and the Kuban academy system, including a spell in Kropotkin, between 2013 and 2016. He played as a forward until he was twelve, when he was switched to centre-back.

His senior career began at Kuban-2 Krasnodar in the Second League: 14 appearances, one goal. When Kuban went bankrupt he stayed with the restructured Urozhay, but made no league appearances there — a single Russian Cup match was the whole of that year. In 2019 he joined the CSKA Moscow youth and reserve set-up, played 18 times for the second team in the U19 M-Liga, and left without a senior professional contract.

KAMAZ signed him as a free agent in July 2020. He made 21 appearances in his first season as the club went up, then the goals came in the First League, and in February 2022 Rubin paid a reported 20–21.5 million roubles for him. His Premier League debut followed on 14 March 2022 against Rostov. After Rubin were relegated he played 23 matches in the 2022–23 First League, scored three, and the club won the title and went straight back up.

He has passed 100 appearances for Rubin across all competitions. In October 2024 Valery Karpin included him in the extended training camp list for the senior national side; he is yet to be capped.
