About the player
Euan Bowie is the son of Billy Bowie, the chairman and majority owner, and came through the Kilmarnock academy alongside his brother William, also representing Scottish Schools at international level. He signed his first professional contract in May 2024, and was sent out to learn the game away from Rugby Park.
The first loan took him to Kilwinning Rangers in January 2025, a spell that ran until May and coincided with the club's promotion to the WOSFL Premier Division. From August 2025 he moved on to Albion Rovers in the Lowland League, part of a cooperation agreement between the two clubs.
Bowie's breakthrough with Kilmarnock itself came on 17 May 2026, when he was introduced as a second-half substitute in a 4-1 win away to Livingston in the Scottish Premiership. He had to wait until 25 July 2026 for his first start, deployed at left-back in a Scottish League Cup tie against Peterhead — and he marked it by being named Man of the Match.
