About the player
Jiří Sláma joined the Sigma Olomouc academy at the age of ten and spent the next seventeen years at the club before making his senior debut in 2018. A loan spell at FK Pardubice followed, where he made 33 appearances across the Czech National League and the Fortuna Liga without finding the net, before returning to Sigma Olomouc in December 2021.
Back at Sigma, Sláma established himself as a regular in the first team, reaching 89 league appearances by December 2024. His most productive season came in 2022/2023, when he set up five goals, the second-highest tally at the club that campaign, and scored his first top-flight goal, against Slavia Prague in October 2022. He also featured in the UEFA Europa Conference League for Sigma during the 2025/2026 season.
In June 2026, Sláma left Sigma Olomouc as a free agent and signed for FK Jablonec. He made his debut for Jablonec against Sigma, his former side, and quickly became a key player in the team's Europa Conference League qualifying campaign, starting against NK Varaždin and Rangers.
