About the player
Bica's football education began at SC Mirandela, the club of his home town in the district of Bragança. Porto brought him into their academy in 2018, and he first showed what he could do in front of goal at GD Chaves, in the 2019/20 season, when he scored 19 times in 20 matches.
That return earned him a move to French football. In August 2020 he signed a five-year professional contract with Lille OSC.
The move was made permanent in September 2025, with Leixões paying 300,000 euros for a three-year deal.
