Kirill Folmer

Twenty-one assists in a single season is the number that follows Kirill Folmer around. He posted it for Sibir Novosibirsk in the 2024/25 campaign, to go with four goals, a return that was described as unique for the Second League.

Folmer came up through Spartak Moscow's academy before making his professional debut with Spartak-2 in 2018. A move to Ufa followed a year later, where he split time between the reserve side and the first team. In February 2021 he joined Rostov as part of an exchange deal involving Magomed Pliyev, though his time there was interrupted by loan spells at Akhmat Grozny and Baltika Kaliningrad. A free transfer to Volgar Astrakhan in 2023 preceded the move to Sibir.

That form carried him to Volga Ulyanovsk on a free transfer in July 2025. His first season there was disrupted by a broken collarbone, sustained in a match against KAMAZ in August 2025, which kept him out for around three months. He returned to finish the campaign with five goals and five assists in 21 appearances, and the club rewarded him with a contract extension to 2028, signed in June 2026.

Folmer has yet to win a major team title or feature for Russia's senior national side.
