About the player
Kevin Andrade scored the goal that decided a Russian Cup final. In the fourth minute of the Path of Regions final against Spartak Moscow on 14 May 2024, he put Baltika ahead, and the score stayed at 1-0 through to the final whistle.
Andrade came through the youth ranks at América de Cali and made his senior debut for the club in August 2018. He spent 2022 on loan at Platense in Argentina, making nine appearances and scoring once, before returning to América de Cali. He was part of the América de Cali squad that won the Superliga Colombiana in 2020, though he came off the bench rather than starting either leg of the final against Junior.
In January 2024 he moved to Baltika Kaliningrad. Over his time at the club he made 69 league appearances and scored twice, and in the 2024/25 season Baltika won the Russian First League, earning promotion to the Premier League. That cup final winner against Spartak had come earlier the same year, in a competition run separately from the league.
Andrade's move to Baltika in 2024 carried a transfer fee reported at around €500,000. Two years later, in May 2026, he moved on to Zenit St Petersburg for a fee widely reported at €3.5 million, signing a long-term contract. He went on to win the Russian Super Cup with Zenit in 2026.
