Kevin Xavier Ushiña Goyes

Kevin Xavier Ushiña Goyes began his senior career at Universidad Católica in Quito, where he made a single appearance in 2014 before dropping down the divisions to rebuild his path through Ecuadorian football. It took five years for his next club chance to arrive, at LDU Portoviejo, where he found more regular football: nine appearances in the club's Serie B campaign in 2019, followed by a fuller season in 2020 with 22 outings in Liga Pro, before his role tailed off to a single match in 2021.

A short stint at Manta FC followed in 2022. His move to Vinotinto in 2023 marked the turning point of his career: modest early involvement gave way to a breakout 2025 season, in which he made 36 appearances, the busiest campaign of his career to date. He carried that form into 2026, adding a further 22 matches before completing a transfer to Delfín SC in late February.

Ushiña has spent his career largely outside Ecuador's biggest clubs, working his way up through Serie B and Liga Pro sides rather than arriving through a big-name academy. His move to Delfín SC represents his first switch to a club at that level, following the sustained playing time he earned at Vinotinto.
