About the player
Prokop came through Žilina's academy after arriving from Košice as a teenager. Playing for Žilina II in the 2. Liga, he was the division's top scorer in the 2023/24 season with 20 goals in 26 appearances, and he followed it with 9 more goals for the reserves the following season.
His path into the senior squad has been steadier than spectacular: 37 league appearances and 2 goals for Žilina's first team. He was on the club's books when Žilina finished second in the Slovak Super Liga in 2023/24.
At international level, Prokop has stayed within the youth system, with 3 caps for Slovakia's U16 side after his debut in November 2019 and a further 3 caps at U21 level, without scoring for either. In August 2026 he moved on loan to Finnish club FC Inter Turku until the end of the year, a deal that also carries an option to make the switch permanent.
