Mohamed Amine Brahimi

Mohamed Amine Brahimi signed for CSKA Sofia as a free agent in August 2025. Born in Saint-Étienne, he holds French and Algerian nationality but has never been capped by either country. His career began in French amateur football, at Hauts Lyonnais and then Vaulx-en-Velin, before a move to Bulgaria in 2020 took him to Tsarsko Selo and then Neftochimic Burgas, where he scored five goals in eight appearances.

Pirin Blagoevgrad followed, then a January 2022 transfer to Botev Plovdiv for a fee of around €60,000, where he became a regular over two and a half seasons, making 37 appearances. He spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Fakel Voronezh in Russia, then rejoined Fakel as a free agent in the summer of 2024 and made 29 league appearances in the 2024/25 season.

At CSKA Sofia, on a contract running to 2028, Brahimi has played on the left wing wearing the number 11 shirt. He made 35 appearances across all competitions in his first season: 24 in the league with four goals and two assists, five in the Bulgarian Cup with a goal and an assist, and six in the UEFA Europa League. His cup goal came in the last-32 tie against Sevlievo. Brahimi started that match and was replaced by Leo Pereira in stoppage time.
