About the player
Miguel Teixeira came through Benfica's youth structure, joining as a child in the club's Estarreja and Seixal setups before moving on to Tondela's junior ranks and then a spell at ACRD Mosteirô. From there he joined Braga, where he progressed through the under-19 and under-23 sides. A season at Salgueiros in the Campeonato de Portugal followed before he signed for Lusitânia Lourosa in 2024.
Lourosa won the Liga 3 title in the 2024/25 season, earning promotion to the Segunda Liga, where the club competed in 2025/26. Teixeira has established himself as a regular, appearing in 34 league matches that season, with 22 starts and 12 appearances from the bench.
