About the player
Nermin Zolotić came through the youth academy at FK Željezničar in his native Sarajevo and made his senior debut there in 2011. In June 2014, KAA Gent paid around €300,000 to sign the left-footed centre-back, and the following season he was sent on loan to Croatia's NK Istra 1961. He returned to Belgium in July 2016, this time with KSV Roeselare, where he made over 100 appearances across four seasons.
In October 2020, Zolotić moved to Portugal, joining Casa Pia A.C. He left Portugal in February 2025 for FC Noah, then still known as FC Artsakh, in Armenia. He won both the Armenian Premier League and the Armenian Cup in his first season at the club, in 2024–25. He returned to Portugal in June 2026, joining SC Farense in Liga Portugal 2.
Having represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at U17, U19 and U21 level, he made his first senior cap in November 2023, coming on in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier against Slovakia.
