Pedro Soma

Pedro Soma began playing at Boca Raton Juniors Soccer Club before signing with UE Cornellà in Spain, where he made his first-team debut in October 2023.

San Diego signed him permanently in July 2025 on a four-year contract with a club option for a further season, and he made his debut for the club that August. The following May, he scored his first MLS goal and set up another in a 5-0 win over Austin FC, a performance that earned him man of the match. By August 2026 he had made nine league appearances for the club.

Soma has represented the United States at various youth levels. He scored in the final of the 2023 CONCACAF Under-17 Championship, a game the US lost 3-1 to Mexico, and was part of the squad that finished runner-up at the Under-20 tournament the following year, where he scored three goals. He has also had call-ups at Under-16, Under-18 and Under-19 level.
