Sergey Samok

Sergei Samok's route to Veles has run through five clubs and one loan spell in as many years. He made his professional debut on 4 August 2021, in a Russian Cup match against Torpedo Moscow while on loan at SKA-Khabarovsk from Sochi, and went on to make seven First Division (FNL) appearances for the Khabarovsk side that season alongside a further four for the club's reserve team.

He joined Rotor Volgograd in January 2023 after a brief spell at Novosibirsk. Across his time there he made 18 appearances and kept ten clean sheets, a record that stands out among his statistics, and helped the team finish as bronze medallists in the Second League, Group 1, in the 2022/23 season. He left as a free agent in January 2024.

At FK Turan in Azerbaijan, Samok made 27 appearances in total after debuting in the Azerbaijan Premier League on 29 September 2024 against Shamakhi. His contract there was not renewed when it expired, and he signed for Veles Moscow as a free agent on 9 July 2026. All of his moves since the initial loan have been completed without a transfer fee. He has yet to make a competitive appearance for his new club.
