About the player
He joined De Toekomst in the summer of 2016, aged ten, and stayed within the club's youth system for close to a decade, working his way up through the U16 and U17 sides before settling into the U19 squad, where he made eight appearances in the 2024/25 season.
His contract at Ajax ran out at the end of that campaign, and in June 2025 he moved on a free transfer to SC Heerenveen. Dutch outlets including Ajax Showtime and Ajax1.nl covered the switch as a notable one. He signed a one-year deal with Heerenveen, with the option of a further season, and has joined the club's Academy at U21 level while training alongside the first team during pre-season.
Schreuder has yet to make a senior appearance for Heerenveen.
