Bruno Alexandre Vieira Almeida

Bruno Alexandre Vieira Almeida, known as Xadas, made his name at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he scored twice in five appearances for Portugal, including a brace in the Round of 16 against South Korea that helped send the side through to the quarter-finals. That tournament capped a rise that had already taken him through the youth ranks at Milheiroense, FC Porto, A.D. Sanjoanense and S.C. Braga before he broke through with Braga B in the 2016–17 LigaPro season, finishing as the team's top scorer with 11 goals in 34 matches.

He stepped up to Braga's first team in the Primeira Liga and spent four seasons on the books, winning the Taça da Liga in 2019–20 along the way. Two loan spells followed within that period: one at C.S. Marítimo, the other at Royal Excel Mouscron in Belgium, where he made 25 appearances and scored twice as the Braga B striker adjusted to senior European football.

Xadas returned to Marítimo permanently in July 2021 on a three-year deal, and the move proved productive — 90 appearances and 11 goals across three seasons on the island. He also represented Portugal at U19 and U21 level, extending the international recognition that began with that U20 World Cup run.

In June 2024 he left Portugal for the first time, joining Tianjin Jinmen Tiger as a free agent. He has settled into the Chinese Super League, contributing 9 goals in 41 appearances for the club.
