J. Fidan

Yiğit Fidan's career has been shaped by a dispute rather than a transfer. In May 2024, after roughly two years without being paid, the centre-back unilaterally terminated his contract with Bursaspor, the club where he had come through the youth ranks and made his professional debut, playing 31 times and scoring once in the 2023/2024 season. The move followed legal notices and an acknowledgment from the club of the outstanding debt, and it came shortly after Fidan had broken his ankle and undergone surgery.

Free of his contract, he signed for Fenerbahçe that August on a deal running until 2028, though he has yet to feature for the club directly, having been loaned out in each subsequent season. He spent the first half of 2024/2025 at Fatih Karagümrük, making three appearances, before a January move to İstanbulspor for the rest of the campaign, where he played 12 times. For 2025/2026 he joined Pendikspor on loan, a spell in which he made 35 appearances and scored twice. A further loan, to Muğlaspor, is set to follow for 2026/2027.

Fidan has represented Turkey at youth level, collecting 17 caps and a goal for the under-19s across 2023 and 2024, and one appearance for the under-20 side in 2025.
