Zakhar Tarasenko

Zakhar Tarasenko came through the youth ranks at FK Gatchina, playing for the club's amateur senior side before a move to Leningradets brought no official league football. He joined TSK-Simferopol, and the switch to FC Sevastopol later in 2019 marked a new chapter. There, in the 2020/2021 season, he won the KFF Premier League title and was named the league's best forward after a campaign of 11 goals and 13 assists; across his time at the club he scored 17 goals in 43 appearances.

That form earned him a move into the Russian Football National League with Olimp-Dolgoprudny, where he scored six goals in 34 appearances during the 2021–22 season, before a spell at KAMAZ. In 2023 he moved abroad to the Armenian Premier League with West Armenia, where he became a reliable source of goals across two seasons — eight in 34 league games in 2023–24, then seven in around thirteen or fourteen appearances the following campaign, for 15 in total during his time there.

January 2025 took him to North Macedonia and Pelister of the First Football League, where he made around nine appearances and scored two goals before he left that July. He then joined FC Veles Moscow the same month.

Tarasenko has not been capped at international level.
