Bury

Gigg Lane has been Bury's home since the club's earliest years. It was there that supporters watched the club claim two FA Cups, beating Southampton 4–0 in 1900 and Derby County 6–0 in 1903, wins built partly on Charlie Sagar, who scored in both finals. The Second Division was won in 1894–95 and, decades later, there were promotions out of the Third Division in 1960–61 and 1996–97. Ryan Lowe became the more recent name attached to that pattern, part of the side that pushed through the leagues in the 2010s.

The Bolton–Bury rivalry and the derby with Rochdale gave the fixture list its edge.

The rebuild continued in February 2022, when the Bury FC Supporters' Society bought Gigg Lane and the club's assets outright, and again in May 2023, when Bury AFC and the Society merged and took back the Bury FC name.
