BVK Konjari

Sredno Konjari is a small village club, and the football team that carries its name, formally listed as FK Bratstvo-Vlaznimi Sredno Konjari, has spent most of its life exactly where a village club spends its life: in the lower tiers of Macedonian football, currently the Macedonian Third League, North division. It took shape in 2014, and there is no sign it was built for anything grander than giving the village a side of its own.

The one occasion that stands out came in the 2022–23 Macedonian Football Cup. Drawn against Rabotnicki, a First League club with a far longer pedigree, BVK Konjari won 5–3 in the first round, the kind of scoreline that gets a small-town team's name into headlines it does not normally reach. The run stopped in the next round, where another top-flight side, Shkupi 1927, beat them 0–8 — a reminder of the gap between the divisions that the cup upset had briefly obscured.

Home games are played at Stadion Sredno Konjari, a ground built for a crowd of 1,000, in keeping with a club whose colours, blue and white, are about as much identity as has been recorded. No nickname has stuck, no academy product has made a name beyond the village, and no league title or major honour appears against BVK Konjari's history. What the cup run against Rabotnicki showed, and what the following defeat to Shkupi confirmed, is a club still measured by isolated results rather than sustained standing in Macedonian football.
