Hurrikaani

Hurrikaani-Loimaa spent 12 years reaching finals and losing them. Between 2011 and 2023 the club collected five silver medals and three bronze, and the run of near-misses acquired a name of its own, the "silver curse". It ended in the 2023–24 season, when Hurrikaani beat Akaa-Volley 4–0 in the final and won the Finnish Championship for the first time.

It began in 2002 as Loimijoen Hurrikaani. In 2007 it was reorganised as Hurrikaani-Loimaa after a partnership with Koijärven Kunto of Forssa, in place since the late 1990s, came to an end. The new structure gave the team its own board, so decisions could be made faster. It also kept the debts of a volleyball side away from the parent clubs, Loimaan Jankko and Koijärven Kunto.

The first title did not stand alone. A second Finnish Championship came in 2025–26, and in 2026 the club also won the Finnish Cup (Suomen Cup) for the first time. Home games are played in front of up to 1,260 people at Loimaan liikuntahalli.

Two derbies mark the calendar. Raision Loimu is the local opponent, and TUTO Volley provides the fixture known as the Independence Day Derby. Among the players who have worn the black and yellow are Santeri Välimaa and Eetu Häyrinen, and the Americans Greg Petty and Troy Gooch.

The club has yet to take part in a European final.
