Thuwunna Stadium, standing directly in front of the Myanmar Football Federation's own offices, has carried both. It hosted the country's youth side when Burma, as it was then, won the AFC Youth Championship seven times between 1961 and 1970, a run built on a tournament format that often split the title among several teams. Between those wins came a runners-up finish in 1965 and third place in 1967 and 1971.

In 2014, under German coach Gerd Zeise, Myanmar reached the semi-finals of the AFC U-19 Championship, a result that sent them to the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. Aung Thu found the net there before going on to play in Thailand for Muangthong United and Buriram United, while Yan Naing Oo, who had opened the scoring at that same World Cup, later turned out for Shan United and Yangon United.

Beyond Thuwunna, the team has also called Bogyoke Aung San Stadium and Zayyarthiri Stadium home.
