Raynes Park Vale

The 2022–23 season ended with promotion Raynes Park Vale had never managed before: the Combined Counties Premier Division South title, taken with 99 points, sent them up into the Isthmian League South Central Division for the first time in the club's history. Josh Gallagher, in charge since 2021 and brother of Conor Gallagher, was the manager who got them there.

The club itself is a merger, formed in 1995 out of two older sides. Raynes Park FC began as the Southern Railway Football Section in 1925 and was reconstituted under its own name in 1964 once the railway section folded. Malden Vale, founded in 1967, had been the last champions of the Surrey Senior League in 1978 and spent time in the Diadora Isthmian League before fading in the years that followed. What emerged from the two was entered into the Combined Counties Football League, where it stayed until that 2023 title took it up a level.

They play as The Vale, at Prince George's Playing Fields on Grand Drive, where a covered stand seats 178 of the ground's 2,060 capacity. Alongside the senior title, the club has also picked up smaller honours down the years, including the Combined Counties League Cup with the reserves and a Tony Ford youth title at under-18 level.

Their nearest rival for the derby is Kingstonian, and the fixture between the two has taken on its own name locally, the Grand Drive Derby. The older rivalry, though, belongs to history rather than the present table: Malden Vale, the club that no longer exists except as half of Raynes Park Vale's own foundation.
