Slovan Bratislava U19

Dunajská Streda's DAC and Inter Bratislava round out the short list of opponents whose meetings matter more to the dressing room than three points on their own would suggest.

The U19 side sits under ŠK Slovan Bratislava, whose first team took shape in Bratislava in 1919 and later passed the youth ranks the same sky blue and white colours and the same nickname, Belasí. The academy trains out of the Ružinov district, and its graduates have gone on to wear the senior shirt: David Strelec made a similar journey up from the youth side.

The age group has won the Slovak U19 Championship twice, in 2013 and 2018, and in recent seasons it has tested itself further afield in the UEFA Youth League, facing academy sides from AC Milan, Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.

Even so, it is Trnava that shapes the calendar around Tehelné pole more than any of those visiting names, a rivalry the club's youngest players inherit long before they are old enough to play it out at senior level.
