The stadium carries the name APEX . The structure does not stand alone; it is one of two pitches at the site, a layout completed in 2015 with the addition of the second surface and a grandstand. The ground opened in 2014.

The seating arrangement is sparse. There are only 200 fixed seats, leaving the majority of the 2,750 capacity as open standing room. For years, the venue operated as a hub for community events and various National Premier Leagues competitions without a single resident club. That changed in 2022 when Adelaide Olympic FC took over the site from Football South Australia. The club now utilises the ground for its senior, junior, and mini-roos teams.

The playing surface is synthetic. The highest attendance was recorded during an Australia Cup Preliminary Round match between Adelaide Olympic and Adelaide United, a fixture that drew 2,637 spectators.
