The Beijing Gymnasium sits on Tiyuguan Lu in the Dongcheng District. It is an indoor hall, not a football ground.
It was built with Soviet help and was the first large indoor stadium in the country.
The ground does not host matches. It is currently the Fitness Center of the National Sports Training Center. National teams in gymnastics, basketball, volleyball and table tennis use it to train. The name 'Beijing Sporthalle' is just a German translation, not an official title. Other places in the city, like the Workers' Gymnasium or the National Indoor Stadium, are different buildings entirely.
