Centreville Bank signed on just weeks before the doors opened, so the arena spent years being built under one identity and only became something else at the very end.

Rhode Island FC play their home matches here, and the club and the ground effectively grew up together — there was no long-standing tenant moving in, no older identity to shed. The pitch is FieldTurf, a small practical detail but one that shapes how the surface holds up across a season of league football without the wear a grass pitch would show.

At 10,500 seats, it sits at a scale suited to a club still building its following rather than one already straining against its own capacity. What stands out locally is less the ground itself than where it stands: on Taft Street, close by the water that gave the project its working name.
