The ground at Peter-Hofmann-Weg 3 is a private build. Since it opened in 1999 to mark a hundred years of the club's existence, the place has lived through the team's climb from the **Verbandsliga** to the **Bundesliga**, even if the senior men moved on to bigger hills.
The pitch is **natural grass**. The stands are all covered now, a change made later to meet the requirements of the second tier. The ground has hosted a German international friendly, where the national side beat Norway 1–0, and a cup match between **SC Freiburg** and **Borussia Dortmund**.
Now the seniors play elsewhere, and the stadium belongs to the women's team and the reserve side. When the team **felt the pressure** in the second division, they came here to fight it out, and the small crowd knew exactly what was at stake.
