Estadio Arquitecto Antonio Eleuterio Ubilla

The name belongs to Antonio Eleuterio Ubilla, a local architect and one of the first pupils at the Liceo Departamental de Melo. No single designer is attached to the structure — it was a municipal job from the start, and the formal name, Estadio Municipal Arquitecto Antonio Eleuterio Ubilla , still says so.

Most of what stands there now dates from one year. Cerro Largo had kept knocking on the door of the Uruguayan big two, and on 31 March 2012 beat Nacional 4–2 here, the club's first win over either of them, in a campaign that took it into the Copa Sudamericana for the first time. Qualification brought CONMEBOL requirements with it, and the ground was reworked to meet them: a new facade, a lighting tower, a visor over the main stand and press box. The first international match followed on 14 August 2012, a goalless draw with Aurora. Peñarol were beaten at the ground for the first time on 14 December 2013, 1–0.

The second round of work ran behind schedule and was finished in early 2022. It went into the playing surface — new irrigation, fresh seeding — plus an electronic scoreboard measuring 5.70 by 3.84 metres and a press sector with its own accessory rooms, for US$145,000.

On 6 March 2025 the stadium held the playoff against Danubio for a place in that year's Copa Sudamericana group stage.
