Estadio Brigadier General Estanislao López
Santa Fe, Argentina
Formerly: Estadio Eva Perón
Colón's ground carries a name given to it by visitors: the Cementerio de los Elefantes . The run ended in Barrio Centenario, on the corner where Avenida Juan José Paso meets Boulevard Dr. Zavalla.
The name on the ground has its own sequence. It opened on 9 July 1946 as the Estadio Eva Perón . In 1955, after the coup that removed Juan Domingo Perón, the Perón family names were barred from public use, and the stadium was renamed for Brigadier General Estanislao López.
Colón used the ground for their home matches in the 1998 Copa Libertadores.
Other codes have used the pitch as well. It hosted matches of the 2010 world junior rugby championship, and in 2009 an Argentina B side beat Panama 3-1 there in a friendly.
