Estadio Metropolitano Ciudad de Itagüí
Itagüí, Colombia
The ground sits inside the Ditaires recreational park, on land that was once the hacienda of the same name. The formal title has never changed.
It went up on the initiative of the Итагуи mayor's office as part of the town's development plans, opening in 1994 under mayor Оскар Санчес Франко. Between 2008 and 2014 it was home to Агилас Дорадас, who won promotion here and then spent four seasons in the Categoría Primera A using it. Атлетико Насьональ borrowed it in 2010, playing Онсе Кальдас here in that year's Торнео Апертура. The current tenants, Итагуи Леонес, won the Categoría Primera B in 2017 and took the ground into the top flight the following season.
Its biggest occasion was the 2010 Кубок Колумбии final, when the local side — then Итагуи Дитайрес — faced Депортиво Кали in front of roughly 10,500 people in a stadium built for 12,000. It has also staged matches at the IX Южноамериканские игры.
No World Cup or Copa América has ever forced a rebuild here. The most substantial work came in 2021, when around 1.65 billion pesos went on dressing rooms, roof waterproofing, electrical and sanitary systems and the access areas, reopening the ground after the pandemic closure.
