The Estadio Olímpico Florentino Oropeza sits within the Ciudad Deportiva de Yaracuy. It is not merely a pitch surrounded by stands. The stadium’s identity is tied to the local government’s investment in the sport.

What distinguishes this ground is not its size, though it holds around 10,000 spectators, but the quality of fixtures it has staged. In 2019, the venue hosted three consecutive finals of the Venezuelan Segunda División.

The stadium also held an international friendly in 2010, pitting Venezuela against North Korea in a 1-1 draw. It remains the only such match recorded here.
