Estadio Tomás Beygon Gorea

Somewhere in the terraces of this ground in Асунсьон there is a lapacho tree growing straight up through the seating. In 2017 Ресистенсия Спорт Клуб made the tree a member of the club. The tree had already outlasted the rebuilding work on the stand around it.

The ground sits in the barrio of Рикардо Бругада, better known as Ла Чакарита, and it carries the name of Томас Бегган Корреа, a former club president. Under Бегган Корреа the side won the Paraguayan second division in 1966, the club's first official trophy. Three more second-division titles followed — 1975, 1980 and 1998 — and the club played in the Primera División in 1976, 1977 and 1981, and again in 1999 after the 1998 win.

Ресистенсия were founded in December 1917, and the club returned to the top flight once more in 2021 before dropping back down in 2023. Where the stadium's exact street address stands in the record, the club's sede social is the fixed point in the barrio — Fernando de Mompox at Zaya, a short way from the pitch itself.
