FC Bayern Campus

The FC Bayern Campus is a modern sports complex. The pitch itself is a hybrid surface, natural grass reinforced with synthetic fibres, a standard choice for professional pitches that ensures durability.

While the main stadium can hold 2,500 spectators, the capacity swells for high-demand matches. When the women’s team plays a fixture in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the club opens additional standing areas, pushing the crowd over 4,000. The Campus was built on the site of the former Fürst-Wrede-Kaserne, replacing the old facilities at Säbener Straße. It opened on August 21, 2017, after a construction period that cost approximately €70 million. The design came from the architecture firm AS+P in cooperation with Joachim Bauer-Architekten. The complex is situated at Ingolstädter Straße 272.

The senior men’s squad does not play competitive matches here, preferring the Allianz Arena for their fixtures. Instead, this complex is the home of the women’s team and the youth sides. The highest attendance for the club’s women’s side remains at the Allianz Arena, where a crowd of 57,762 watched a game.
