Victoria Park and Ross County were born in the same year, and for decades the ground off Jubilee Park Road stayed close to what it had always been: a modest home for a club. That changed in 2012, when promotion to the Premiership. Keppie Design drew up the plans, Global Construction carried out the work, and the old Victoria Park re-emerged with undersoil heating. The renaming followed within months, a sponsorship deal turning it into the Global Energy Stadium.
