Hřiště Psáry

The ground belongs to a small town in the Prague-West District. It has not been modernised into a corporate facility; the changing rooms are brick cabins that were extended piece by piece over the decades. The pitch itself is a natural grass surface that sits flat and square.

The club that calls it home arrived in 1931, but the land was not secured until 1953. The work to drain the site and build the first cabins fell to the volunteers of the time, led by a man named Jaroslav Uher, who directed the opening of the proper ground in August 1963. The building work continued quietly after that. When the old cabins from the Vápence site were moved here in 1960, they provided shelter, but the brick structures that followed in 1973 were built to last. Insulation was added in the nineties and the noughties, a slow process of improvement that kept the facilities functional without drawing attention.

There are no seats, only standing space for the 500 people who can fit. The highest crowd seen here recently was 180 spectators for a Cup match against FK Nový Jičín in the 2024/2025 season. The club is preparing to play in Divize B for the next season, a step up from where they currently stand in the fourth tier. The ground also hosts local events like the harvest festival, keeping it woven into the fabric of the town rather than isolated as a sporting venue. It is not a place where the game is played in a vacuum; it is part of the landscape.
