Jahnsporthalle

The Jahnsporthalle in Grafing bei München is not a football ground, and it does not pretend to be one. It is a functional space for indoor sports, built in 1985 as a 'Dreifachhalle'—a three-court hall—for the TSV Grafing von 1864 e.V. club. The facility serves as the home venue for the club's volleyball, handball, and basketball departments. The men's volleyball team, known as 'Fighting Bayrisch', plays in the 2. Bundesliga Süd.

The hall has a capacity of 800 spectators, a figure cited by the club's database (Volleybox) and the Süddeutsche Zeitung, although one source (Europlan) lists 200, likely referring to a specific configuration or outdated data. The hall hosted crucial 2. Bundesliga playoff matches in 2023, including a derby against VC Eltmann and matches against Leipzig. In 2006, the venue hosted promotion/relegation games that secured TSV Grafing's return to the 2. Bundesliga.

The hall is distinct from the older 'Jahn-Turnhalle' (built in the 1930s), which was renamed 'Stadthalle' and is used for events. Minor renovations, such as changing rooms by rontec, have been performed on the Jahnsporthalle. The playing surface is indoor hard court (implied by volleyball/handball usage, though not explicitly named 'natural' or 'artificial' in the context of outdoor sports, it is an indoor hall). No former official names are recorded; 'Dreifachhalle' is a descriptive term. No attendance record beyond the capacity is known. No major national concerts or top-tier finals were held here.

The hall is located at Kapellenstraße 17, 85567 Grafing bei München, Germany, in the district of Engerloh.
