Kavumba Recreation Ground

Kavumba Recreation Ground sits on Kavumba Road in Wakiso, a modest venue in the Central Region of Uganda. With room for 1,000 spectators, it has served as the home for Uganda Police FC for over 35 years, while their new Kiira Road Police Arena was under construction. The ground also hosts Soltilo Bright Stars FC and, historically, Soana FC, now Tooro United.
The surface is natural grass. It has hosted matches in the Stanbic Uganda Cup, including fixtures involving Police FC and Calvary FC, as well as Uganda Premier League games. Notably, SC Villa used the venue for home matches during the 2021/22 season and was scheduled to use it for the 2023/24 season opener. The ground was also scheduled to host the Masaza Cup finals in October 2023.
The Kavumba Recreation Centre business entity is listed as established in 2007, this refers to commercial registration rather than the construction of the ground itself.
