It reopened at the end of August 2006 after a rebuild that touched the whole site: new track surfacing, new courts, refreshed support buildings, and, on the pitch itself, the artificial turf that gives the ground its name.
That turf was not left to age quietly. In 2016 the club replaced the surface again, this time to FIFA Star 2 standard, with a new drainage system and a geomembrane laid underneath.
The ground has passed between tenants rather than belonging to one for long. FC TVMK used it for home fixtures in 2007, Tallinna Kalev has also called on it, and since 2017 it has been the home pitch of FC Tallinn.
