Letní stadion

The original concrete stands are protected cultural monuments. That history sits under a rebuild that finished in 2023. The work added covered seating and new floodlights to the old structure, bringing the pitch up to the standards required for the Czech First League. FK Pardubice have played in the top flight here since the ground reopened on a January evening in 2023.

The venue has cycled through names over the last century. It opened as Letní stadion in 1931, before becoming Gottwaldův stadion during the communist era and later CFIG Arena. The current official name, Stadion Arnošta Košťála, was adopted after the recent renovation. The capacity has been adjusted significantly from its original size, settling at 4,620 seats for league matches.

While the ground hosted speedway races on its old track in the 1930s, the focus is firmly on football now. There is no specific attendance record attached to the venue that warrants mention; the numbers are simply part of the daily routine. The local district of Zelené Předměstí provides the immediate context for the location.
