Metrom Stadium

The pitch on Str. Metrom Stadium took its name from the Brașov arms factory that put it up for its own works team in the 1930s.

What followed was a slow stripping-down rather than a rebuild. The stands came out, and what's left is fenced in at just over a thousand capacity. The city took the site over from the defunct club and has kept it going largely as a training base for youth and women's football rather than as a matchday venue with a crowd to speak of.

There was talk in 2019 from the mayor's office of a proper overhaul — a new sports hall, a gym, a canteen alongside the pitch — though nothing in the record says how far that ever got. For now it remains a modest, functional ground on the edge of the city.
