Beltinci sits in Prekmurje, a corner of Slovenia where football grounds rarely get more than a home dugout and a rope line, and the pitch on Mladinska has been in use since 1961. The clubhouse followed in 1969, the covered stand and a VIP box in 1997, and a further rebuild in 2011 brought it closer to its current shape.
Capacity sits at around 4,000, but only 1,441 of those are seats — 1,346 of them under the main roof. The natural turf has never been replaced by anything synthetic.
The current tenants, ND Beltinci, only took that name in 2007; the club was founded a year earlier as ND Žuti Marki. The ground's one notable date has nothing to do with league football: on 5 September 2004 it hosted the farewell match of Štefan Škaper.
