PUNCTUM Arena
Troisdorf, Germany
The PUNCTUM Arena sits where the old Dynamit Nobel industrial works once stood in Troisdorf. It is a modern Dreifachhalle — a triple sports hall — opened in March 2026 after construction began in 2024.
Inside the hall, the playing area covers 1,104 square metres and the ceiling rises to just under 12 metres. Fixed seating holds 600 spectators, but mobile stands can push that number past 1,000 for larger events. There is no permanent pitch — the surface is designed for volleyball and other indoor sports, though the exact material is not specified in public records.
TuS Mondorf, which plays in the second division in the north, has a cooperative agreement with Rhein-Sieg Volleys, a local club formed from a merger in 2008 and operating under its current name since 2019. Both teams use the arena for home matches. The venue is distinct from the existing Stadthalle on Kölner Straße, which has served the town since 2014. Frank Stommel is the managing director of Baucon Immobilien Management, the company that built and invested in the arena.
The arena's address is Mülheimer Straße 17-19, in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis district. It does not carry a former name — during planning it was simply called the new sports hall.
