Sportkompleks Yubileyny

The Sportkomplex Jubileyny stands at ul. Lenina, 125, a facility that arrived in Cherepovets in March 2006. It was built to mark the 50th anniversary of the Severstal steel enterprise. The complex is distinct from the Ice Palace Jubileyny at Oktyabrsky Prospekt, 70, which houses the hockey club Severstal. Here, the focus is on indoor sports, and the main hall has a fixed seating capacity of 1,500. Telescopic tribunes can add another 400 seats when needed, bringing the maximum capacity to approximately 1,900 spectators. The arena serves as the home of the women's volleyball club "Severyanka". On the floor, the surface is wooden, prepared for basketball and volleyball matches. When the Russian Cup arrived in 2011, the hall held 1,000 fans. A year later, the crowd was smaller, with 600 attending. The building itself is owned by the municipal institution MAU KSK "Yubileyny", which manages its operations without a dedicated official website, though updates are occasionally posted on VKontakte.

Opened in March 2006, the Sportkomplex Jubileyny is a modest, functional space in Cherepovets, designed for volleyball and basketball rather than spectacle. Its 1,500-seat capacity ensures fans remain close to the action, creating a direct connection between the players and the crowd. The facility remains a central part of the city's sporting life, hosting the Severyanka volleyball team in competitions across the region.
