Sportplatz St. Johann (Alpenarena)

Squeezed between the Salzburg–Tyrol railway line and the B311 road, with the Salzach a short walk to the east, the ground has never had room to grow beyond its footprint on the northern edge of Sankt Johann im Pongau.

Locals know it as much by the name Alpenarena as by its official title, Sportplatz St. Johann, though it was long known simply as Sportplatz Sankt Johann. The natural grass pitch sits alongside a smaller artificial-turf ground, the Alpenarena Nebenplatz.

TSV St. The ground has stayed a strictly local stage: no national cup finals, no touring concerts, just the club's own fixtures on a pitch hemmed in by rail line and road.
